HISTORY OF DINAGAT FESTIVAL Dinagat Festival is cetebrated in cordova, in honor of the town's patron saint senior san roque. an annual celebration held every month of august. This Festival is the time of the year when the townsfolk show their gratitude for beautiful harvest they have received from the sea. This is because the main livelihood of cordova has always been, then and now, fishing. This festival currently celebrates its 25th anniversary. the annual festival was started last august 14, 1999. One of the founder of this Festival is the first lady of our late former Town Mayor of cordora.
